Plan specifications
Europe — key facts.
One plan, 34 countries
Cross from France to Italy to Switzerland without lifting a finger — your eSIM connects to a top local network in each country automatically.
Fast 4G / 5G everywhere
Expect strong 4G LTE and 5G in cities and towns across the continent — plenty for maps, video calls, and streaming on the go.
Not just the EU — UK, Switzerland & more
Unlike many EU-only passes, this plan also covers the UK, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Serbia, Montenegro and more.
No ID registration
There's no passport scan or registration to buy a Europe eSIM. Buy with just an email — then go.
Validity starts on arrival
The clock starts on your first connection in Europe, not the purchase date. Buy up to 180 days in advance and install before you fly.
Top up instantly
Running low mid-trip? Add more data in seconds — no new QR code, no reinstall. Tip: top up before you run out to avoid a gap in service.

Which countries does the Europe plan cover?
All 34 countries listed on the Europe landing page — including major destinations like France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Malta, Cyprus, plus non-EU countries such as the UK, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Serbia, Montenegro and Gibraltar. One plan works across all of them with no extra charge between borders.
Do I need to switch SIMs or settings when I cross a border?
No. Your eSIM automatically connects to a local network in each country — there's nothing to swap, re-scan or re-configure. Your data allowance is shared across every country on the plan, so a trip through several countries draws from the same balance.
Does it really cover the UK and Switzerland?
Yes. Unlike many EU-only passes, the RORO Europe plan includes the UK, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Serbia, Montenegro and Gibraltar on the same plan — no separate purchase and no surcharge when you enter them.
How fast is the connection?
You'll get 4G LTE and 5G where available across the continent — fast enough for HD video, video calls, maps and hotspot. RORO connects to a top local operator in each country; real-world speed depends on location, time of day and network load.
Do I need to show ID to buy a Europe eSIM?
No. There's no passport scan or registration — buy and activate with just an email address. The RORO physical SIM is the same: no ID needed either.
When does the validity period start?
Validity starts when you first connect to a network in Europe — not the purchase date. The eSIM stays valid to activate for 180 days. We recommend installing it 1–3 days before you travel, then enabling it when you land. For a physical SIM, order it about a week before departure so it arrives in time.
How do “Daily Unlimited” plans work?
Daily Unlimited gives you 3 GB per 24 hours at full 4G/5G speed, after which speed is reduced for the rest of that 24-hour window, then resets. Hotspot sharing is capped at 500 MB per 24 hours. Prefer a fixed amount you can use however you like? Choose a Data by GB plan instead.
How do I top up or extend my plan if I run out of data?
Easily. Top up online any time from your RORO account or the app — no new QR code and no reinstall. Your eSIM keeps the same number and settings. Tip: top up before your data runs out, since with zero data you can't get online to recharge.
Can I get a physical SIM card instead of an eSIM?
Yes. RORO offers physical SIM cards for Europe. Shipping across Europe takes 3–5 days (a small delivery fee applies), and we ship worldwide too. Each card comes with 1 GB included — use it to top up to any plan online once it arrives. Same coverage as the eSIM.
Does it support hotspot / tethering?
Yes. Data by GB plans allow full hotspot sharing — use your whole allowance as a mobile hotspot. Daily unlimited plans include a 500 MB/day hotspot limit. Either way you can share with a laptop or tablet anywhere on the plan.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept credit & debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. No ID is required for card payments.
Will this replace my original phone number?
No. RORO runs as a second line in dual-SIM mode and is data-only. Your original SIM keeps making calls, receiving SMS, and running apps like WhatsApp as usual — RORO only handles your data.
Can I use my home SIM and RORO at the same time on a dual-SIM phone?
Yes. On a dual-SIM phone both lines stay active simultaneously — keep your home SIM for calls and texts, and set RORO as your data line in settings. There's nothing to swap as you move between countries. If your phone can't use the RORO eSIM, the physical SIM works the same way in your second SIM slot.
