First, check your phone
Make sure your phone supports eSIM — or go straight to a physical SIM. Takes 10 seconds.
Three phases, start to finish
Before your trip, on arrival, and during your travels. First, pick how you're connecting:
Choose & buy your plan
Plans stay valid for 180 days after purchase — buy up to six months ahead. Get a full refund if your trip is cancelled or changed before you install.
Install your eSIM
Connect to WiFi first — installing an eSIM needs internet, so do it at home before you travel. Then use any one of the methods below.
- Make sure your phone is connected to WiFi
- Open the Camera app and point your phone's rear camera at the RORO QR code
- Tap the notification banner that appears at the top of the screen
- Follow the on-screen prompts to finish — done in under a minute
- Settings → Cellular / Mobile Service → Add eSIM
- Tap “Use QR Code” and scan the RORO QR code
- Name this eSIM “RORO” — strongly recommended, so it's easy to find and manage later
- Settings → Connections → SIM Manager → Add eSIM
- Tap “Scan QR code” and scan the RORO QR code
- Name this eSIM “RORO” — strongly recommended
- Settings → Cellular / Mobile Service → Add eSIM
- Tap “Enter Details Manually”
- Paste the SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code from your email or My SIMs page
- Name it “RORO” and confirm
- Settings → Connections → SIM Manager → Add eSIM
- Tap “Enter activation code” or “Add manually”
- Paste the activation code from your email or My SIMs page
- Name it “RORO” and confirm
Activate when you land · 2 steps
When you arrive, open Settings — it takes about 30 seconds.
Turn on data roaming
Settings → Cellular / Mobile Service → tap RORO → enable Data Roaming.
Set RORO as your data line
Settings → Cellular / Mobile Service → Cellular Data → select RORO.
Turn on data roaming
Settings → Connections → Mobile Networks → enable Data Roaming.
Pixel: Network & internet → SIMs → RORO → Roaming · Xiaomi: SIM cards → RORO → Data roaming
Set RORO as your data line
Settings → Connections → SIM Manager → Mobile Data → select RORO.

Need more data? Top up
Best: top up before your data runs out
The new plan activates automatically when the current one ends — seamless, with no interruption.
Don't wait until you're empty
If data runs out while you're on the move, your phone suddenly disconnects — and you may not have WiFi nearby to top up.

Insert your physical SIM
Slot the RORO SIM into your phone's second SIM tray, keeping your home SIM in the first slot so you keep your number.
- Eject the SIM tray and place the RORO SIM in the second slot
- Reinsert the tray and power on
- When your phone detects the new SIM, label it “RORO” — strongly recommended, so you can quickly toggle roaming and manage top-ups
