1. Acceptance of these terms
Welcome to RORO. These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and DDUP Business Service AB ("RORO", "we", "us"), the company behind the RORO travel-connectivity brand. By creating an account, buying an eSIM or physical SIM, or otherwise using roroesim.com or the RORO app (together, the "Services"), you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2. Who we are
RORO is operated by DDUP Business Service AB, a company registered in Sweden — registration number (organisationsnummer) 556883-0672, EU VAT number SE556883067201, with its registered office at Transportgatan 2, 254 64 Helsingborg, Sweden.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to enter into a binding contract. If you use the Services on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorized to bind that business to these Terms.
4. The Services
RORO provides travel data connectivity through eSIM profiles and physical SIM cards that connect to partner mobile networks in 190+ countries and regions. Network access is provided by our mobile-operator partners; coverage, speed (including 5G availability) and performance depend on those networks and your device.
- eSIMs are delivered electronically and installed by scanning a QR code or via the RORO app;
- Physical SIMs are shipped to the address you provide;
- Specific data allowances, validity periods and prices are shown on the relevant product page at the time of purchase.
5. Orders, pricing and payment
Prices are shown on the product page and at checkout, including applicable taxes where required. We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders already confirmed. Payment is processed by our third-party payment providers; by paying you authorize the charge for your order.
We accept bank cards (debit and credit), Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, WeChat Pay and Alipay. Payments are collected by DDUP Business Service AB, registered in Sweden, which appears as the payee on your statement and issues your receipt.
6. Activation and validity
Each plan has an activation rule and a validity period stated on its product page. Typically a plan begins when it first connects to a network, or after a stated activation window, whichever comes first. Unused data does not roll over after a plan expires unless the product page says otherwise.
You are responsible for making sure your device is unlocked and eSIM-compatible before purchase. Use our compatibility check if you are unsure.
7. Acceptable and fair use
RORO does not restrict how you use your data — you are free to share it, use a hotspot, resell or pass it on. In return, you agree to:
- Use the Services lawfully, and not for fraudulent or abusive activity, or in breach of a partner network’s terms;
- Take responsibility for complying with the laws and regulations of any country or region where you use the SIM — if your usage breaches local rules, that is your responsibility, not RORO’s.
We may apply reasonable network management to keep the service fair for everyone.
8. Refunds and cancellation
Because eSIMs are digital goods delivered immediately, your statutory right of withdrawal may not apply once a plan has been installed or activated. We do offer support and, in line with our refund policy, refunds for plans that were never activated or that cannot work due to a verified fault on our side.
For physical SIM cards: once a card has been shipped, any return is made at your request and the cost of return shipping is borne by you. A refund, where applicable, covers the price of the unused product and not the original or return delivery charges.
9. Intellectual property
The RORO name, logo, the "One SIM, One World" wordmark, site design, illustrations and content are owned by RORO or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify or use them without our prior written permission.
10. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is". We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free connectivity, specific speeds, or coverage in any particular location, because these depend on partner networks, local conditions and your device. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including mandatory consumer-protection rights.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, RORO is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from network unavailability outside our reasonable control. Our total liability for any claim relating to a plan is limited to the amount you paid for that plan.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access to the Services if you breach these Terms or use the Services unlawfully. You may stop using the Services at any time.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Sweden, unless mandatory law provides otherwise. EU consumers may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the site or app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
